TVN could incorporate the spring carnival with a free to air channel such as ch 10 and it would be a great success this could easily be done if they just all got off their so called high horses and provided it for all not only here in Aus but world wide,,,,, what a great way to showcase our racing and our great country to the world,,,,

He backed more than one as most of them do, they if you back half the field you have to have a chance of getting a collect it`s just a matter of if it`s a good one or not.

Hi mate,

The run of the race with Palacio de Cristal (the horse that I got mail about on Thursday night).
Her last 200m was outstanding, she really picked up the bit and charged to the line something that I wanted to see from her and she has got written all over her "BACK ME NEXT START" the other thing is we know any rain she giggles as she loves the wet,and the best thing maybe Peter Snowden will put D.Beadman back on her for Slipper Day as he is coming here to ride Hinchinbrook in the Slipper.
As I wrote in my previous post to you I really think she is a Autumn mare and she is ready to produce and we all know Peter Snowden horses don't go backwards in there training once they show form.

Hi Mate,
Abit of rain would help greatly but I don't think it will come.
I think what you would like to see her really hitting the line really hard.In her favour she has had 4 starts at the distance for 3 wins.I will be looking for her when she runs on Golden Slipper Day or the Doncaster race in acouple of weeks time.
I am very keen on one in the race and she has been set for this race. My mail around is watch for it to be well supported on track and it comes from a stable that likes to have a bet.
I am pretty keen on my 3 selections for the Rosehill meeting tomorrow as they have been given to me from a pretty reliable source that they are ready to race out of there skin and all are at Eachway odds at the moment.
GOOD LUCK & GOOD PUNTING

Hi Molanski 13,
On face value she did look a little disappointing where she was beaten 3 lengths .
Well I wouldn't sack her just yet as I thought that track at Warwick Farm on Saturday was playing a little funny on the weekend where most of the winners were coming from the first 4-5 runners turning for home and sitting 2-3 of the fence. The only winner that came from the back of the field was race 2 Dorf Command where he came from last when the leader set a cracking pace.
I would give her 2 more runs this prep as when I was looking at her in the enclosure on Saturday she was still a little big in condition and after Saturday's run I think she will tighten up in condition for her next assignment. I didn't back her on Saturday I backed the stable mate in the race Drumbeats.
Where ever Peter Snowden places her next start you would want her to be finding the line as I really think for her to win this preparation it will in her next 2 starts because this could be her final prep as she is a 6yo mare.
Hope this helps you out as I will be giving her 2 more chances as I think she is a Autumn Mare that does her best racing this time of the year as we know she did win on Golden Slipper Day last year.
GOOD LUCK & GOOD PUNTING

Hi Molanski,

It's difficult to compare the likes of Typhoon Tracy, Black Caviar and More
Joyous as not every race is run in a time that is indicative of each horses
true ability. For example, Black Caviars win on 22/1 was run is solid but
not brilliant time, however that was because the early pace was very slow.
When they go slow early, it's impossible for the winner to clock outstanding
overall time. In these cases you need to analyse the quality of the
sectional times. In the case of Black Caviar they were top class. In saying
all of that, it's overall time that determines the true quality of a
horse... all our champions have shown the ability to run outstanding overall
time when the conditions are right.

Typhoon Tracy is a Mare that has regularly hit the 110 point on my numbers
and has achieved that at a different tracks and distances against top class
opposition, which puts her in very elite company. On my assessment she's the
best Mare we've seen since Sunline and over 1400-1600m might very well end
up the equal of that mare... time will tell.

More Joyous is slightly different. She went through her 2YO career without
posting what I would call a fast time and even first up on 29/8/09 she ran
moderately and didn't clock any great figures. However that all changed on
19/9/09 at Rosehill when she ran a 104 overall time (about 3 lengths off
Typhoon Tracy's established quality) but she did it with an outstanding last
600m. That suggests that given the right conditions More Joyous could run
even faster. Her time on Saturday of 69.80 secs on a slow track seems
phenomenal... almost too fast so I will wait for some data I receive each
week that confirms race time via electronic timing off video. Overall I
would say that More Joyous isn't yet up to Typhoon Tracy as she doesn't have
the performance on the board... but I certainly expect that all going well,
she will get close to that mark this preparation.

Black Caviar could ultimately be better than both of them. She clocked a 107
rating on debut up the Flemington straight and then a 105 rating at
Caulfield the start after, both times still with something in reserve. For a
2YO to achieve those figures is very rare... it's only the very best horses
we have seen in recent times that achieve these marks as 2YO's. Since then
she hasn't really had the pace conditions to clock faster overall time so
they are my reference points. With natural improvement on a 107 2YO figure
she could go well above 110 as an older horse.... perhaps 115+ which would
make her one of the best Sprinters we've ever seen, in any era.

I have Hot Danish pegged at a 104-105 Mare... The sooner Les Bridge concedes
that she's a 1200-1400m horse and not 1600m horse then the more races she
will win (as long as she avoids Typhoon Tracy).

Neroli is probably 1/2 length off Hot Danish overall although her very best
runs i.e. a 106 on 3/10/09 at Flemington is up there with Hot Danish... and
she actually beat her home on this day. Overall they are quite similar. The
on pace style of Hot Danish however is likely to see her beat Neroli home
more times than not.

Both of these horses are a level below Typhoon Tracy / Black Caviar and even
More Joyous (on potential). That level is probably in the order of 2-3
lengths inferior.

Hope this helps !
