1 A Shin Conpa Amongst the placegetters last start running second at Sonoda. Capable of racing on speed and drawn ideally. Hard to hold out.
2 Jungle Marisa Ran six lengths back from the winner last start at Sonoda. Capable of racing on speed but still prefer others.
3 Smart Alive Resumes after a 16 week spell. Has a lot of early speed and Osamu Shimohara a bonus. Commands serious thought.
4 Gran Guerrero Can't knock the form with two wins from seven attempts this campaign. Has genuine early speed and rates highly with Wataru Hirose retaining the ride. Not the worst.
5 Vario Won last start at Sonoda. Has a lot of early speed but increase in distance may not suit. Chance.
6 A Shin Okikurmi Last start winner at Sonoda. Has genuine early speed and Takanori Nagai a bonus. Forward showing no surprise.
7 Bind Lock Placed last start at Sonoda when first up. Capable of racing on speed and rates highly with Yoshiki Kamomiya aboard. Expect to be right up there.
8 Ichibamboshi Back after 17 week break. Has genuine early speed but looking elsewhere.
9 Yashiro Boy Finished ninth last start at Sonoda. Looks the leader and rates highly with Hibiki Ishido back on board but still appears safely held.
10 Love Me Tequila Can't knock the form with four wins from 12 attempts this campaign. Has genuine early speed and has won twice at Sonoda before. Leading hope.
11 Intercept In the money last start running third at Sonoda. Has a lot of early speed and won once this prep at Urawa six runs back. Not the worst.
