2 Forewind Ran six lengths back from the winner last start at Sonoda when resuming. Looks the leader and placed at Kochi in only second-up attempt. Solid claims.
3 A Shin Machine Ran fourth last start at Sonoda. Capable of racing on speed. Place only.
4 Daicho Seven Ran 18 lengths back from the winner last start at Sonoda. Looks the leader but still looks tested.
5 Astounded Finished worse than midfield last start at Sonoda. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but not in this.
6 Daisy Flash Resumes from a 24 week spell and yet to miss the placegetters. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Leading contender.
7 Hishi Arakan On a seven day back-up. Looks the leader. Can get the job done.
8 Campanadas Ran seventh last start at Sonoda. Has genuine early speed and won once this prep at Kanazawan eight runs back. Looking elsewhere.
9 Meisho Buyu Ran eight lengths back from the winner last start at Sonoda and has outstanding form at this track. Capable of racing on speed. Commands respect.

11 Meisho Ifu On debut and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. Racing without trial. Watch betting.
