2 King Oliver Finished seventh at only start at Nakayama. Hard to get enthused.
3 Peace One Duc Let-up for seven weeks. Finished a nose back from the leader at only start at Chukyo but prefer to watch go around.
4 Dice Are Rolling Back from let-up. Ran ninth at only start at Tokyo. Place chance.
5 Red Refinado Resumes after a 34 week spell. Will take a power of beating.
6 La Lune Est Belle Finished a neck back from the leader last start at Nakayama. Capable of racing on speed. Capable of getting into the money.
7 Heartlight Returns from 10 week let-up. Serious player.
8 Fotizo On debut and untrialled. Watch betting.
9 Sydney Light Let-up for 10 weeks. One of the main hopes.
10 Lykeion Let-up. Must respect.
11 First Mate Finished six lengths off the winner at only start at Nakayama and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. Ryuto Yokoyama not a regular jockey for this trainer. Seems unlikely.
12 Modigliani Kiyoshi Hagiwara debutant and untrialled. Has the speed to overcome drawing the widest barrier. Watch betting.
