1 Hero Oso Ran 11th last start at Mombetsu when resuming. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Drawn the rails. Consider.
2 M T Uno Placed last start at Mombetsu when resuming. Has genuine early speed and generally strong second-up winning at Kawasaki last second-up attempt. Should be right in the finish.
3 Alegrime Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Mombetsu when resuming. Capable of racing on speed but ran 11th at Nakayama in only second-up attempt. Not here.
4 S K Eagle Only just missed last start, finishing half a length back from the winner at Mombetsu when first up. Has genuine early speed. Place.
5 Ariadne Finished fourth last start at Mombetsu and should run fitter for past attempts. Should fight out the finish.
6 Sleipnir Last start winner to break maiden at Mombetsu when fresh. Has a lot of early speed and rates highly with Gaku Banno aboard. Place only.
7 Theophania Ran 12th last start at Mombetsu when fresh. Capable of racing on speed. Masaaki Kuwamura and H Kakugawa are a proven combination. Winning chance.
8 Placebo Back from 38 week spell. Has genuine early speed and returns to shorter trip. Can threaten.
9 Drum Lime Finished seventh last start at Mombetsu when resuming. Has a lot of early speed but seems unlikely.
