1 Black Butler Returns from six week let-up. Only just missed last start, finishing a nose back from the winner at Ohi when resuming. Has genuine early speed. Commands respect.
2 Miso First starter and untrialled. Watch betting.
3 Flying Rod First-up after 13 week spell and first start for a new trainer. Placed at Urawa on debut. Chance.
4 Kitasan Hikoboshi Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Mombetsu when fresh and has multiple wins at the track. Has genuine early speed. Strong hope.
5 Filo First start for a new trainer and a 12 start maiden. Capable of racing on speed but not keen.
6 Capsule Can't knock the form with three wins from 11 attempts this campaign. Looks the leader and has outstanding form at this track. Capable of getting into the money.
7 Osore Beaten easily last start at Mombetsu when fresh and first try at this distance. Has genuine early speed but not here.
8 Passion Cry Let-up for six weeks and goes well at Mombetsu. Has a lot of early speed. Expected to be a contender.
9 Davay Esperanza Back after 25 week break. Has a lot of early speed and down in distance. One for the multiples.
