1 Yakujin Myo O Amongst the placegetters at only start running third at Sonoda. Draws to do no work and expect to lead. Leading hope.
2 Hiro Namikaze Has run in 13 races without placing and big rise in distance a concern. Looks the leader but still not in this.
3 Bellagio Girl Has run in 12 races without placing. Has a lot of early speed but has not won in five outings to Sonoda before. Not keen.
4 Rose Line Ran 15 lengths back from the winner last start at Sonoda. Has genuine early speed. Serious player.
5 Libellula Finished nan back at only start at Sonoda. Hard to get enthused.
6 Avanza Unplaced in all four runs this prep. Capable of racing on speed but no wins in four past runs at Sonoda. Not out of it.
7 Cho Norinori Let-up and coming to a new trainer. Hasn't placed in six runs. Appears tested.
8 Exsperion Has placed in three runs from six this campaign. Has genuine early speed and placed in three of four at Sonoda before. Solid claims.
9 Smile Clark Resumes after spell of 19 weeks and placed at Sonoda on debut. Has a lot of early speed. Needs the breaks.
10 Siena Dance Has had 13 runs without breaking maiden. Capable of racing on speed and up in distance. Rough claims.
11 Fumi Florence First-up after 29 week break and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw but look to others.
12 Edohigan Finished worse than midfield last start at Sonoda. Has genuine early speed and has the speed to overcome drawing the widest barrier. Commands serious thought.
