1 A Shin Scipio Resumes after a spell of 43 weeks and has won or placed in both races so far. Placed when on debut at Sonoda. Hard to hold out.
2 Tenkobahi Has had 21 runs without breaking maiden. Capable of racing on speed but has not won at Sonoda previously. Rough claims.
3 Tamba Guri Finished a nose back from the leader last start at Himeji. Looks the leader and won once this prep at Himeji two runs back. Not the worst.
4 I Samain Finished fourth last start at Himeji. Has a lot of early speed. Hard to go past.
5 Aio Yobu Tailor Only just missed last start, finishing a nose back from the winner at Himeji. Has a lot of early speed and should run fitter for past attempts. Should go well.
6 Vegas Vacation Won once this prep at Sonoda seven runs back. Capable of racing on speed. Forward showing no surprise.
7 Amor Fati Placed last start at Himeji. Has genuine early speed and rates highly with Osamu Shimohara aboard. Well placed.
8 Brighten Back from 14 week spell. Has a lot of early speed and S Kawahara has a strike rate of 26% for this trainer. Leading chance.
9 Satono Avalon Won once this prep at Himeji three runs back. Has genuine early speed but without a win in 10 runs at Sonoda. This looks too strong.
10 Royal Hojari Short back-up of six days. Capable of racing on speed and won once this prep at Sonoda five runs back. Hard to get enthused.
