3 Syntactic Ran fourth last start at Santa Anita when fresh. Capable of racing on speed. Should go well.
4 Derecho Dandy A 11 start maiden. Has genuine early speed but has not won at Santa Anita previously. Not the worst.
5 American Cat First race for Lorenzo Campuzano. Looks the leader and first try at this distance. Rates as one of the key chances.
6 Fireman Dan Amongst the placegetters last start running third at Turf Paradise. Looks the leader and should run fitter for past attempts. One for wider exotics.
7 My Partner Glen Finished worse than midfield last start at Santa Anita. Looks the leader and won once this prep at Los Alamitos Racecourse four runs back. Not the worst.
