My worst losing streak in my new 2 week career as 'sure thing tipper '........I should know by now not to brag......getting smashed is helping ease the pain. 

Why can't it be this easy for the next 26 fortnights........need to work out what I'm doing so I can repeat it more often than not. Would be really happy with 1K profit per month @ $100 bet....... Long way to go till this time next year though. 

Early days but 58% place rate is a good start (would like it a smidgent over 60%). Good thing for you subscribers is that you wont have to subscribe......most of the time.....if you know my race picks it will be easy to work out which one i'm on.......if I can continue place rate I plan to throw in a " 'Zig' of old occassionally".....but you'll know which few days you have to subscribe when you've worked out my new process. 

thezig hi. remember 80% of winners comes under 10/1 [ are you doing class based selection or time based selection or both ]
I am betting on Saturday races. Class based selections .80% of the time. I and up with 2 selections
still making some money. Meed week i hardly bet. When i do ,i use the timing based selection mixed with The class [ i mean the city class, not the country class ] 

Looks like I'll have to re invent another selection process. Not happy.... if i keep going like this i'll be minus 20K for 2013. 

Two winners in three months, gotta say i am excited. Not the right time for me to start tipping ( not much have been in my selection process lately, have managed to win eg. days i haven't tipped), but might have to have a crack next few days just in case a big school of decent odds is on it's way. ##Note: Good sign for me is 'when "Crookednose" starts landing Big fish, it's most likely time for me to cut loose ##

Betfair SP you can nominate a minimum price (ie. $10) so if a horse starts at less than $10 Betfair SP you do not get your bet on. With Betfair SP you will always get matched so no need to worry about unmatched bets. I think that would suit the Big Bonanza really well as you can put all your bets on in the morning and nominate a minimum price. I don't think Aladin is downplaying his results (I think he has two sets of prices some were at Supertab and some at Tattsbet) Depending on what prices you have used you may get different results. You can get previous Betfair SP prices (go to racing then results then nominate the day you want and it will show you the price) Last few weeks on the Bonanza I have backed every horse but this week I may use a minimum price of $10 and see how that works for me. Obviously you need to start using it and then seeing how it works for you. If I have time I will go back and update all the Betfair SP prices but it may cost you a subscription for me to send it to you! 

Note for my lean times. Shocking place return began straight after bignoting that I didn't need to win because I'd always win on the place........Karma. Have to try to get back to basics , need steady place return first .

JACKPOT stile system for those who would like that kind of system. A BONANZA will destroy all my POT's specially EW & PL.
You are correct only time can tell what aladin will achieve in 2013 - 30K (40%) ??? From this where I'm standing now I would not be happy
with that figure but with 40k I'll be very happy. But at the end of 2013 who knows if my score is $25k I should not be disappointed…. Then

Missed easy pickens Tues 12/2, left out wrong races. But would still be minus overall if I picked every race meet when I decided to bet

looks like 2012 was a fluke, press on but, same plan, stop if 3K or plus ahead for month

true, sundays are usually a day off. or too hungover to wake up early. had valieke written down yesty but missed cut off time to submit this morning. good to see ur hitting a couple big ones 

Just a note to myself again. Few nice size swimmers after Friday's 14/12 Dicko's Dream and Batiska came home. Missed double wammy on Sunday 16/12 at Pinjarra r3 $82. If hadn't used morning paper I probably would have reviewed race and it ticked most of Zig's boxes (can't complain but occassionly outsider tippers need that run of luck, not only get half your chances). Should quit for month but if run continues may throw a line in..... seeing I've had three lean month's. 

Hi thezig, I couldn't believe getting those 3 winners in Scone. I actually got only $8 for the first winner ($24 tote), but got 50/1 about Green With Envy, and a beautiful $140 odds on Dicko's Dream with Betfair. Thanks for the kind words. Don 

"Feel like a rabbit in the spotlight". Not really tipping as i should ( ie should be waiting for a couple of big bites that fall into my selection criteria then start tipping , hoping they are part of a big school of fish and i might get some of the others). Have not seen much up my alley, so thought i might do something different and try to pre-empt the big run (Nov-Dec). Just another note to myself to remind me to be patient and also keep positive (three days in the last 12 months i have had potential to return 6K plus in one each day, 2 i got and one slipped by). 

Just surviving off the back of two extra ordinary months Jan & Mar . Will be very unhappy if I can't produce a 6-10K spike in Nov Dec

Medium sized ones spat hook. Off the boil now, I couldn't get close to big ones landed Monday, time to watch and wait

Nothing showed up next few days after Sept 1st for my style of tips. 29th Sept could have got Damemark KGrange race 5 ($57 uni) but 27 days of crap tips @ 6-10 per day would be minus profit still

Just another reference note to myself. 1st Sept decent value everywhere, (days like that 40 to 60 bets is very viable for longshot punters....but how to pick the day). Interested to see if there is a few others around in the next few days. 

Gooday Thezig, The best Bookie byfar for place bets is Sportsbet. (It's affiliate IAS pays crap on place bet odd, but I still use them)They are far from perfect but are as good as it gets followed closely by Luxbet,which is a very good company to deal with All the others are really just a joke when it comes to place betting BUT we still have to use them. I have accounts with the 3 Tabs (Vic, NSW, Uni) and do equal bets of $200.00 each. The Dividend average for the 3 is approx. $1.27c, keeping in mind the Popular Pick is usally a Super Favorite so there is plenty of money in the place pool for this particular race so large bets are not a problem so they won't ban you from big bets. Others I use are Unibet, Betstar, BestBookies,Beteasy,Tom Waterhouse, Bookmaker.com.au,ect. My wife convinientlly has an account with these as well.Spread you bet with as many of these as possible preferaby ones with better odds The Bookies you hammer hard, throw them a bone about 3 times a week and do a fair size reverse bet with them and Lay it on Betfair as far as software to place all the bets. I WISH!! but it isen't all that hard. I have an Ipad when I'm out, about 30 minutes before I retrieve the Popular Pick.I open and sign in to the Bookies As soon as I get the PP I do the bets. All up it takes about 15 Mins.I also control Betsender Bot on my system at home with the Splashtop Remote Control App. which is great. The secrete to winning lots of money from Popular Pick is to be strict and patient. see ya. 

Gooday Thezig, Thought you might be interested in a bit of factual stuff on the Poular Pick.I put $120.00 on PP For a place with over 20 Bookmakers every day(aprox. $2500 a day) for the last 12 Months I double my bet after a loss and sware a lot to help win the loss back. Keep away from Betfair with place bets, odds are crap. Very rarelly you get 2 losses in a row I have pocketed over 50 Grand using this method without a winge from any of the Bookmakers and contiue to add extra Bookies as I find them. Not One of them give you best of 3 on place bets all the time, most are down right cruel on there payouts on place bets. These are the ones that I bet extra with because I am 83% sure that I will win there money. The biggest problem I have is placing the bets on time for instance the Popular Pick Today was the first race at Soundown so by the time I got the PP I had only 10 Seconds left, of course it one a place, paid on average $1.04 which gave me about $100 profit for doing nothing. Yesterday I cleared over $2500 thanks to fixed odds. Never let it be said that the Popular Pick is a waist of time. This is by far the best safest way on this site to win heaps. I hope many of you guys and gals get on board seeya.

First week of July 100 units profit very gettable, especially Rosehill 'Stout Hearted' was a Zig special (13.00 morning paper might not have been enough value for me).
