Cheers Large. I didn't see the race but when I checked the results I was surprised to see the price it paid. I thought that based on its run two starts ago it was a top chance...nice windfall to say the least!

All American !!! Give me strength. 18mths of 'he can do it' , 'he has the class for this race' I jumped off after the Toorak Hcap when he looked to have every chance. I felt validated when next he was beaten 4.8L in the Crystal Mile at the Valley. 6 starts over a mile with he best effort being 2nd to Whobetgotchu in the Stutt Stakes. Then yesterday with seemingly more BartCash in the bag, Is that Miss Finland no no no....On a brighter note. Follow Sobers.Not a fast horse but will win at odds when you least expect it. Only won his maiden yesterday as a 4yo and not beyond 1500m.
Thanks Large. Even though I work at getting a high strike rate the odd losing run is bound to crop up. Having said that, I was thinking last night that I was due for few wins!
