2 Phala Millions Won last start to break maiden at Vaal. Has a lot of early speed but without a win in seven runs at Turffontein. Looking to others.
3 In The Ether In the money last start running second at Vaal. Has a lot of early speed and all wins have come when faced with dry ground. Place hope.
4 King Rahul Short back-up of seven days. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Returns to shorter trip. At least a place chance here.
5 After Hours Has got off to a poor start this campaign but should improve with fitness. Looks the leader and up in trip. Solid claims.
6 Call Me Master First-up after 45 week spell and proven first-up runner winning in two of five attempts including a win at Turffontein last try. Returns to shorter trip. Sneaky chance.
7 Circus Lights Placed last start at Turffontein. Looks the leader and both wins have come in the dry. Knockout hope.
8 Nazare Back from let-up and has got off to a poor start this campaign but should improve with fitness. Should find the lead easily having drawn well but prefer others.
9 Van Meijel Won once this prep at Turffontein four runs back. Looks the leader and has the speed to overcome an unfavourable draw. Place.
10 Dancing Dora Finished a neck back from the leader last start at Vaal. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Has two placings from five runs this prep. Forward showing no surprise.
11 Fennec Fox Ran sixth last start at Vaal when fresh. Capable of racing on speed and all wins have come when faced with dry ground. Place hope.
12 Empress Game Only just missed last start, finishing a length back from the winner at Vaal. Has a lot of early speed and won once this prep at Vaal 11 runs back. At least a place chance here.
13 Prince Of Kildare Finished 12th last start at Turffontein but has the speed to overcome drawing the widest barrier. Returns to shorter trip. Cannot entertain.
