1 Hagino Aldebaran Only just missed last start, finishing a length back from the winner at Hanshin. Capable of racing on speed and draws to do no work. Hard to hold out.
2 Ladybells Struggled so far this preparation. Capable of racing on speed and up in distance. Prefer to watch go around.
3 Limit Buster Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Hanshin. Has a lot of early speed but just the one placing this campaign at Kyoto. Unlikely.
4 Pinky Promise Resumes after a 35 week spell and having first start for a new trainer. Winner when on debut at Tokyo. Commands respect.
5 Lily Bright Has struggled in all three runs so far this campaign. Capable of racing on speed but no wins in five past runs at Tokyo. Not in this.
6 Grand Cullinan Ran 11th last start at Fukushima when fresh but a track specialist winning twice at Tokyo. Looks the leader. Can surprise.
7 Soie De Lyon Let-up for eight weeks and having first run for a new trainer. Looks the leader. Each-way claims.
8 Avenir De Briller Returns from six week let-up. Has a lot of early speed and placed twice at Tokyo but been unable to get a win. Can threaten.
9 Lux Big Star In the money last start running third at Tokyo. Looks the leader and should run fitter for past attempts. Expect to be right up there.
10 Lord Prayer Back from let-up. Has genuine early speed and winner at Tokyo before. Should be right in the finish.
