1 Amaysmont Ran four lengths back from the winner last start at Newcastle. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Up in journey. Major contender.
2 Makalu Coming off a win at Southwell when resuming. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. At least a place chance here.
3 Copper Mountain Only just missed last start, finishing a neck back from the winner at Southwell. Has a lot of early speed. A good chance.
4 Flying Panther Let-up for eight weeks and coming to a new trainer. Capable of racing on speed. Place chance.
5 Twilight Jazz Has got off to a poor start this campaign but should improve with fitness. Looks the leader but still hard to have.
6 Cailin Saoirse Let-up. Capable of racing on speed and drawn perfectly. Cannot rule out.
7 Star Of St James Let-up. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Has two placings from nine runs this prep. Outside hope.
8 Billy McGarry Won once this prep at Newcastle four runs back. Looks the leader but has not won at Southwell previously. Knockout hope.
9 Wood Farm Wag Has run in 16 races without placing. Has genuine early speed but increase in distance may not suit. Appears tested.
