4 Two By Four In the money last start running third at Santa Anita. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Goes up in trip. Can surprise.
5 Takes Three Won last start to break maiden at Santa Anita. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Rates highly with Armando Ayuso retaining the ride. Rough claims.
6 Curlin's Kaos Ran fourth last start at Santa Anita. Has a lot of early speed and won once this prep at the track three runs back. Not out of it.
7 Size Does Matter Let-up. Capable of racing on speed and won once this prep at Golden Gate Fields four runs back. Commands serious thought.
8 Mischiefs Causeway Let-up for eight weeks. Finished half a length back from the leader last start at Santa Anita but an untried jockey and trainer combination. Prefer to watch go around.
9 Just A Guess Back from let-up. Only just missed last start, finishing half a length back from the winner at Santa Anita when first up. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Hard to hold out.
