3 Smart Frey Has run in 22 races without placing. Looks the leader but no wins in nine past runs at Saga. Looking to others.
4 Siorapaluk Still a maiden after 21 starts. Has genuine early speed but has not won at Saga previously. Can surprise.
5 Glanz Eclat Back from let-up. Looks the leader and won once this prep at Saga five runs back. Serious player.
6 Win Blanca Yet to break out of maiden grade after 22 attempts. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but without a win in 22 runs at Saga. Appears safely held.
7 Cosmo Salm Placed last start at Saga. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but without a win in five runs at the track. Forward showing no surprise.
8 Tryfan Coming off a win at Saga. Has genuine early speed and has outstanding form at this track. The testing material.
9 Star's Tesoro Still a maiden after 12 starts. Capable of racing on speed but no wins in 12 past runs at Saga. Outside hope.
10 Long Succession Beaten easily last start at Saga and down in distance. Looks the leader. Go well.
11 Sakura Top Kiseki Ran 16 lengths back from the winner last start at Saga but has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. Has genuine early speed but not in this.
12 Rinen Cozzene Let-up for six weeks. Has genuine early speed and has the speed to overcome drawing the widest barrier. Commands respect.
