2 Pauole Returns from six week let-up. Amongst the placegetters last start running third at Nakayama when resuming. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Can get the job done.
3 Seika Fulgore Returns from six week let-up and having first start for a new trainer. Looks the leader but this looks too strong.
4 Omega Symphony Let-up. Looks the leader. A winning chance.
5 Nac Drops Coming off a win to break maiden at Fukushima when resuming. Has a lot of early speed. Rough claims.
6 Copano Pasadena Can't knock the form with two wins from six attempts this campaign. Capable of racing on speed. Expected to be a contender.
7 Rickey Magic Let-up and coming to a new trainer. Looks the leader. Hard to go past.
8 Red Gale Having first start for a new trainer. Has a lot of early speed but still outsider.
9 Chambre Finished three lengths off the winner last start at Hanshin. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Won once this prep at Tokyo four runs back. Chance.
10 Vagabond Coming to a new trainer. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but cannot entertain.
11 Taisei Blaze Returns from 10 week let-up and has won or placed in all races to date. Won at Hanshin when last fresh and won two of two first-up. Leading contender.
12 Queen's Melissa In the money last start running third at Kyoto when fresh. Looks the leader and has the speed to overcome an unfavourable draw. Not the worst.
13 Namura Frank Won once this prep at Hanshin two runs back. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Has the speed to overcome an unfavourable draw. Not the worst.
14 Lord Eclair In the money last start running second at Hanshin when fresh. Has a lot of early speed and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. Forward showing no surprise.
15 Isla Anhelo Let-up and has the speed to overcome drawing the widest barrier. Has genuine early speed. Not the worst.
