2 Lord Spiral First start for a new trainer and has struggled so far this preparation. Expect to lead/box seat having drawn close but still looks tested.
3 All Flag Back from let-up. Has a lot of early speed. Leading chance.
4 Tosen Walt Ran six lengths back from the winner last start at Fukushima. Has genuine early speed but this campaign's form has left a lot to be desired. Outsider.
5 Meiner Columbus Resumes from an 18 week spell and having first start for a new trainer. Commands respect.
6 Vatreni Let-up for nine weeks and has run in seven races without placing. Looks the leader. Expect to be right up there.
7 Pearly Black Let-up for 11 weeks and hasn't placed in six runs. Has genuine early speed. Outside hope.
8 T M Fonte Finished 11th last start at Chukyo when resuming. Outside hope.
9 Admire Levin First-up after 17 week break and first start for a new trainer. Looks the leader. A good chance.
10 Relationship Ran five lengths back from the winner last start at Fukushima when first up. Has genuine early speed but Jun Takada not a regular jockey for this trainer. Outsider.
11 Kurino Honey Having first start for a new trainer. Capable of racing on speed and has the speed to overcome an unfavourable draw. Not the worst.
12 Tycoon Back after 14 week break and coming to a new trainer. Looks the leader but looking elsewhere.
13 Shigeru Tanuki Finished 13 lengths off the winner last start at Fukushima when fresh and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. Commands respect.
14 Ten Commandeur Hasn't placed in six runs but has the speed to overcome drawing the widest barrier. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Not out of it.
