1 G T Oka Finished a nose back from the leader last start at Kawasaki when fresh and drawn the rails. One of the main hopes.
2 Lavender Macaron Finished 11th at only start at Chukyo. Hard to have.
3 Benikakesora Let-up for seven weeks. Capable of racing on speed but this campaign's form has left a lot to be desired. Not here.
4 Nunkkot Short back-up of six days. Looks the leader but ran 14th at Nakayama in only second-up attempt. Appears tested.
5 Al Mare City Coming off a win to break maiden at Kawasaki. Has a lot of early speed and should run fitter for past attempts. Not out of it.
6 Shimoguri Finished five lengths off the winner last start at Chukyo. Has genuine early speed and should run fitter for past attempts. Cannot entertain.
7 Electric Boogie Let-up for nine weeks. Looks the leader. Will take a power of beating.
8 Grateful Pain Back from let-up. Coming off a win to break maiden at Kyoto. Capable of racing on speed. Commands serious thought.
9 Danon Kilauea Resumes after a 19 week spell. Expected to be a contender.
10 Take Notice Returns from 10 week let-up. Finished midfield at only start at Nakayama. Looking to others.
11 Taisei Addict Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Chukyo when fresh. Has genuine early speed and won at Chukyo in only second-up attempt. Chance.
