1 Chase The Way Ran 11th last start at Tokyo when first up. Has a lot of early speed and should find the lead easily having drawn well but outsider.
2 Planeta Resumes from a 27 week spell and first run for a new trainer. Looking for a hatrick after winning two in a row at Kochi but seems unlikely.
3 Grace Carillon Resumes after a 20 week spell. Has genuine early speed. Chance.
4 Nande Festive Finished at the rear last start at Kyoto when resuming. Looks the leader and ran 12th at Fukushima when last second-up. Place.
5 Un Jour Beaten easily last start at Tokyo when fresh. Has genuine early speed but ran 13th at Fukushima in only second-up attempt. Not keen.
6 Plati Clair Returns from eight week let-up. Has a lot of early speed. Commands serious thought.
7 Smart Olive Returns from eight week let-up. Has a lot of early speed. Leading chance.
8 Berry Berry Berry Finished four lengths off the winner last start at Tokyo when resuming. Capable of racing on speed and generally strong second-up. Hard to go past.
9 Ho O Jubilee Returns from 11 week let-up. Looks the leader but an untried jockey and trainer combination. Place.
10 Thelon Tesoro Ran seventh last start at Kokura when resuming. Looks the leader but ran 10th at Fukushima in only second-up attempt. Prefer to watch go around.
11 Smile Up Resumes after spell of 17 weeks and generally strong first-up placing at Niigata last attempt. Has a lot of early speed. Rough claims.
12 Pikarie Let-up. Capable of racing on speed but without a win in four runs at Nakayama. Capable of getting into the money.
13 Queen A Pawn Returns from six week let-up. Has genuine early speed and has the speed to overcome an unfavourable draw. Expect to be right up there.
14 Ilsa Let-up. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but no wins in three past runs at Nakayama. Appears tested.
15 Celadonite First-up after 18 week break and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. Has a lot of early speed. Winning chance.
16 Innocence Has struggled in all three runs so far this campaign and drop back sharply in trip. Has the speed to overcome drawing the widest barrier but not keen.
