2 Mashi Take On Placed last start at Nagoya. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Returns to shorter trip. Hard to hold out.
3 Sei Chalice Ran seventh last start at Nagoya. Has a lot of early speed but still not keen.
4 Hakusan Max Amongst the placegetters last start running third at Nagoya. Capable of racing on speed. Place.
5 Satomin Has two wins from seven attempts this campaign. Has genuine early speed and down in distance. Among the main chances.
6 Starlight Blue Struggled so far this preparation. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but has not won at Nagoya previously. Hard to get enthused.
7 G Max Has got off to a poor start this campaign but should improve with fitness. Has a lot of early speed and returns to shorter trip. Looking elsewhere.
8 Schiuma Palla Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Nagoya. Capable of racing on speed but Tomomori Syotaro not a regular jockey for this trainer. Prefer to watch go around.
9 Short Stop Ran 10th last start at Nagoya. Has a lot of early speed and down in distance. Chance.
10 Mozu Platina Resumes after spell of 18 weeks. Capable of racing on speed and returns to shorter trip. Well placed.
11 Cotovia Winner at Nagoya and placed in all other outings this prepearation. Looks the leader and rates highly with Takahiro Imai retaining the ride. The testing material.
