1 Tato Key Ran on strong to finish on the winner's heels last start at Wagga and won once this prep at Corowa four runs back. Likely to race on the speed. Hard to get enthused.
2 Midnight Charm Resumes from a 27 week spell and proven first-up runner winning in two of two attempts including a win at Mornington last try. All wins have come when faced with dry ground. Must respect.
3 Oracle Son Has three wins from nine attempts this campaign and finished midfield last start at Flemington. Don’t dismiss.
4 Lempicka Coming off a win at Sandown Hillside when first up and three from four wins have been in the dry. Rates highly with Blaike McDougall retaining the ride. Should be winning.
5 Lloyd's Crown Back from let-up and proven first-up runner winning in one of five attempts. Has the benefit of a Cranbourne-Trn trial. Appears safely held.
6 Tan Tat Magic First-up after 27 week spell and placed in Cranbourne-Trn trial. Will come to hand quickly and a winner when last first-up at Tatura. Place only.
7 Krakarib Placed last start at Sale but the good track not a benefit. Should run fitter for two previous outings. Knockout hope.
8 Hydro Star In the money last start running second at Cranbourne and placed twice at Mornington but been unable to get a win. Has placed in eight runs from 11 this campaign. A good chance.
