1 Tokai Ignis Won once this prep at Mizusawa four runs back. Has a lot of early speed and should find the lead easily having drawn well. Knockout hope.
2 Shiawaseno Ashioto Returns from 10 week let-up and having first run for a new trainer. Up in distance. This looks too strong.
3 Bellagio Kyundesu Yet to break out of maiden grade after 20 attempts. Has genuine early speed but has not won at Mizusawa previously. Not keen.
4 Tomiken Alabar Won once this prep at Mizusawa two runs back. Looks the leader. Place chance.
5 Bon Bolero Finished midfield last start at Mizusawa. Has a lot of early speed. Should fight out the finish.
6 Alcazar Finished eight lengths off the winner last start at Mizusawa. Has a lot of early speed. Can get the job done.
7 Yamanin Epurer Unplaced in all four runs this prep and faces a rise in distance. Has genuine early speed but still not in this.
8 Brilliant Way Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Mizusawa. Has a lot of early speed. A good chance.
9 Kitano Marvelous Has won at Mizusawa and placed twice this campaign. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Rates highly with Toshiya Yamamoto retaining the ride. Sneaky chance.
10 Best Feature Finished a nose back from the leader last start at Mizusawa. Looks the leader and up in distance. Outside hope.
11 Itarutokorode Having first run for a new trainer and yet to break out of maiden grade after 13 attempts. Down in distance. Not the worst.
12 Step First-up after 13 week break and first start for a new trainer. Has genuine early speed. Beautifully placed.
