1 Dagda Ran nine lengths back from the winner last start at Mizusawa. Capable of racing on speed and drawn the rails. Can surprise.
2 Sei Seeking Yet to break out of maiden grade after 11 attempts and big drop in trip for the first time. Has a lot of early speed but still looking to others.
3 Tosen Gin Lime Has placed in two runs from four this campaign and returns to shorter trip. Has genuine early speed. At least a place chance here.
4 Win Rasanz Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Mizusawa. Has genuine early speed but just the one placing this campaign at the track. Forward showing no surprise.
5 Yamanin Al Mare On a seven day back-up and big drop in distance. Winner at Mizusawa and placed in all other outings this prepearation. Perfectly placed.
6 Grenouille Jaune Still a maiden after 12 starts. Has a lot of early speed but has not won at Mizusawa previously. Hard to have.
7 Veronica Brain Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Mizusawa. Has genuine early speed but just the one placing this campaign at the track. Seems unlikely.
8 Alexandros First-up after 19 week break. Capable of racing on speed and down in distance. Commands respect.
9 Drama Finished eighth last start at Mizusawa. Looks the leader. Commands serious thought.
10 Mikino Ichigo Struggled so far this preparation and down in distance. Has a lot of early speed. Place chance.
