1 Oicho Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Mombetsu when resuming. Has a lot of early speed. Yamato Ishikawa and Hiroyuki Oguni are a proven combination. Forward showing no surprise.
2 Fuji Eugene In outstanding form winning all runs to date and won last start at Mizusawa when first up. Outstanding form at the track. Rates a long way in front.
3 Kultrun Let-up and a 13 start maiden. Up in distance. Outsider.
4 Edono Banzai Coming off a win at Urawa. Looks the leader and up in trip. A winning chance.
5 Combat Spoon Having first start for a new trainer and has won twice at Mizusawa before. Has two wins from 10 attempts this campaign. Can surprise.
6 Sanei Cannon Got the campaign off to a strong start winning when fresh. Has a lot of early speed and has very strong form at Mizusawa. Should go well.
7 Pensee Won once this prep at Kawasaki nine runs back. Has genuine early speed and up in journey. Should go well.
8 Sakura Top Kid Placed last start at Mizusawa when resuming. Has genuine early speed and up in distance. Place hope.
