1 Miyano Kingly Ran 11th at only start at Hanshin but draws to do no work and expect to lead. Chance.
2 Tapfer I Let-up for 12 weeks. Looks the leader. Hard to hold out.
3 Karao Yabure Let-up for eight weeks. Finished at the rear at only start at Chukyo and Yoshihito Nagaoka not a regular jockey for this trainer. Not in this.
4 Water Are Ran ninth last start at Fukushima when fresh. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but ran 13th at Kyoto in only second-up attempt. Forward showing no surprise.
5 Stranger Only just missed last start, finishing a length back from the winner at Nagoya when resuming. Has genuine early speed. Go well.
6 Tagano Owl In the money last start running second at Kasamatsu when resuming. Capable of racing on speed. Outside hope.
7 Win Lauda Unplaced in career and ran 12 lengths back from the winner last start at Fukushima when resuming. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but still not here.
8 Menelaus In the money last start running third at Kanazawa when fresh. Has genuine early speed and faces a rise in distance. Should go well.
9 An Dura Has placed in three runs from three this campaign. Looks the leader. Beautifully placed.
10 Amour Belle Resumes after spell of 15 weeks and coming to a new trainer. Appears safely held.
11 Mozu Yuiyui Finished 11 lengths off the winner last start at Kyoto and has the speed to overcome a very wide draw. Has genuine early speed. Sneaky chance.
12 Smart Regalia Ryo Terashima debutant and racing without trial. Has the speed to overcome drawing the widest barrier. Market as guide.
