3 Something Great Won last start to break maiden at Kochi when fresh. Capable of racing on speed and rates highly with Abe Mototsugu retaining the ride. Place chance.
4 Happy Kirara Yet to break out of maiden grade after 26 attempts. Has a lot of early speed but has not won in 24 outings to Kochi before. Look to others.
5 Pikake Still a maiden after 21 starts. Has a lot of early speed but has not won at Kochi previously. Unlikely.
6 Black Flamingo Finished worse than midfield last start at Kochi. Capable of racing on speed. Sneaky chance.
7 Sable Mirage Ran seventh last start at Kochi when first up. Capable of racing on speed and ran fourth at Funabashi when last second-up. Among the main chances.
8 Mcgillis Finished a nose back from the leader last start at Kochi when first up and has outstanding form at this track. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Perfectly placed.
9 Schein Phobus Ran ninth last start at Kochi. Looks the leader but not in this.
10 We Can Has had 26 runs without breaking maiden. Has a lot of early speed but has not won at Kochi previously. Hard to have.
