1 Hiruno Maas Still a maiden after 25 starts. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but has not won in 25 outings to Kasamatsu before. Hard to get enthused.
2 Kitano Martis Amongst the placegetters last start running third at Kasamatsu. Capable of racing on speed. Winning chance.
3 Menkoi Meiko Won once this prep at Kasamatsu nine runs back. Has genuine early speed. In with a chance.
4 Insane Finished midfield last start at Kasamatsu. Capable of racing on speed and Tatsuya Watanabe has a strike rate of 38% for this trainer. The testing material.
5 Red Jadeite A 22 start maiden. Looks the leader but has not won in 20 outings to Kasamatsu before. Not the worst.
6 Pouncing Puma Still a maiden after 26 starts. Looks the leader but no wins in 26 past runs at Kasamatsu. This looks too strong.
7 Erakis Still a maiden after 24 starts. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but has not won at Kasamatsu previously. Not keen.
8 Shibano Nasturtium In the money last start running third at Kasamatsu. Capable of racing on speed. Among the chances.
9 Prussian Blue Amongst the placegetters last start running third at Kasamatsu. Looks the leader and placed eight times at the track but been unable to get a win. Go well.
