1 A Gift Of Love Resumes after an 18 week spell. Has a lot of early speed and has the speed to overcome an unfavourable draw. A good chance.
2 Story Horse Back from 18 week spell and needs a few starts to get warm. Has the speed to overcome a very wide draw but looking elsewhere.
3 Lawmaker Finished eight lengths back last start at Kempton. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Won once this prep at Kempton three runs back. Outsider.
4 Clever Relation Resumes from a long 41 week spell and winner when on debut at Windsor. Expect to lead/box seat having drawn close. Among the main chances.
5 Regally Blonde Back from let-up and yet to break out of maiden grade after 13 attempts. Has genuine early speed but still hard to have.
6 Animato Finished one and a half lengths off the winner last start at Chelmsford City. Capable of racing on speed and 3kg claim should help. One for wider exotics.
7 Waxing Gibbous First-up after 28 week break and placed when on debut at Goodwood. Looks the leader. Not the worst.
8 Abu Royal Has placed in two runs from five this campaign. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Draws to do no work and expect to lead. Knockout hope.
9 Clear White Light Coming off a win at Catterick on a soft track when fresh. Has genuine early speed and goes well at Doncaster. Probably wins
10 Royal Observatory Finished sixth last start at Wolverhampton. Looks the leader and large claim helps. Place only.
11 Upepo Can't knock the form with three wins from eight attempts this campaign. Has genuine early speed and takes a 7kg claim. Sneaky chance.
12 Damascus Steel Ran sixth last start at Pontefract on a heavy track when resuming. Looks the leader and ran second at Newcastle when last second-up. Prefer to watch go around.
13 Sea Master Resumes from a long 43 week spell and having first run for a new trainer. Has a lot of early speed. Commands serious thought.
14 Bearaway Returns from six week let-up. Has a lot of early speed and has the speed to overcome an unfavourable draw. Capable of getting into the money.
15 Mythical Resuming from a long 49 week spell. Looks the leader but an untried jockey and trainer combination, still has solid claims.
16 Fiddlers Green Short back-up of six days and two wins from seven attempts this campaign. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Place only.
