2 Kashino Indeed Back from let-up and could need a few starts to get going. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader. Needs the breaks.
3 Vin Nature Back from let-up. Capable of racing on speed. Confident will go close.
4 Timur Let-up for six weeks. Looks the leader and has placed in two attempts this campaign. Right in this.
5 Lavatanssin Let-up for five weeks. Capable of racing on speed and should run fitter for past attempts. In the mix.
6 Banfield Returns from 12 week let-up. Capable of racing on speed but an untried jockey and trainer combination. Not in this.
7 Meiner King Beaten easily last start at Tokyo when fresh. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but ran eighth at Hakodate in only second-up attempt. Hard to get enthused.
8 Gempachi Libero Back from let-up. Finished eight lengths back last start at Nakayama when first up. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but not in this.
9 Notre Promesse Resumes from a 13 week spell. Capable of racing on speed. Should be thereabouts.
