Champion Chase 2013

The Queen Mother Champion Chase, also know as the Champion Chase, is a premiere test of stamina and agility with twelve fences over a distance of 3219 metres (two miles).

The featured event on the second day of the Cheltenham Festival, this year sees the heavily favoured Sprinter Sacre who’s been dominant in winning his past seven starts over the fences.

The Nicky Henderson trained Sprinter Sacre (FR) enters off a victory in the Victor Chandler Chase (3420m), an event he won by fourteen lengths.  

Among the talented chasers seeking to prevent Sprinter Sacre from claiming his eighth consecutive victory, with the full field seen in the live Champion Chase 2013 Odds table below include:  

- Sizing Europe (IRE) who claimed the Cottage Chase (3200m) last time out and Wishfull Thinking (GB) who was victorious in the Betfair Chase (3300m).
