Also known as the ‘Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor festival’, the 2012 York race dates are Wednesday the 22nd of August through Saturday the 25th of August, with combined prize money exceeding £2.75million ($4million AUD).

Visit here to see the York Ebor race times, fixtures and schedule for each day’s events, which also include the Group One Darley Yorkshire Oaks (August 23rd), and Betfred Ebor Handicap (August 25th).

The two events attracting European and Australian interest are the Juddmonte International which featured Frankel, and Nunthorpe Stakes hosting Ortensia.

To celebrate Punters Paradise is providing a one-stop Ebor racing festival at York preview page with UK/Australia race times, dates, featured race selections with form tips, the latest odds, final fields and more.

Juddmonte International - Day One  (Completed)

The Juddmonte Stakes, also known as the Juddmonte International, saw Frankels next race with the unbeaten Sir Henry Cecil trained colt stepping up to 2012 metres for the first time in his brilliant career.

Juddmonte Stakes results: Congratulations to Frankel on winning the Juddmonte International, the thirteenth consecutive from the start of his career, and ninth Group One victory.

Frankel was held up in the early stages, but once into the clear he easily swept past the field to register a dominating seven length win, with Farhh edging St. Nicholas Abbey for second.

A key Juddmonte International form tip showed that favourites have had good success, winning or placing in nine of the past ten meets. Frankel encountered little problem extending this streak.

Nunthorpe Stakes - Day Three  (completed)

The Nunthorpe Stakes York, the fifth leg of the seven event British Champions Sprint Series, was a crack event as Aussie raider Ortensia sought an international Group One triple-crown.

Ortensia, a Group One winner in Australia, was also victorious in the Group One Al Quoz sprint in Dubai. With a win in the Nunthorpe Stakes, Ortensia would secure an international Group One trifecta.
