Champion Hurdle 2013

The 2013 Champion Hurdle, the final leg in the long ‘Road to Cheltenham’, is a supreme test of speed and stamina with eight fences over a distance of 3200 metres.

The featured race on the first day of the Cheltenham Festival, this year sees three former event champions led by favourite Hurricane Fly who won the Irish Champion Hurdle last time out in January.

Among the talented jumpers seeking to prevent the Willie Mullins trained Hurricane Fly from claiming his second title in three years, with the full field seen in the Champion Hurdle Odds table below are:  

Kingwell Hurdle winner Zarkandar (IRE), Grandouet (FR) last seen second in the International Hurdle, 2011 Champion Hurdle winner Rock on Ruby (IRE) and 2010 Champion Hurdle winner Binocular.
