hey mate...400 outlay, 490 return... so a small 90 profit (22.5%). 2nd tip opened close to even money but backed for a bloody stack..I think you could have got some good fixed odds 20 mins prior to the race but I only got best tote which paid poorly. 3rd tip was weak. 4th tip was backed in 3 points late but got too far out of it's ground. Sorry to hear about the price you got for the 1st tip, as that would have put you in the red on my tips today. Yesterday was frustrating aswell. 300 out, 390 return. Still better than losing. yes willdozer thats it..take the 2 into the 3 as if i tip 2 or 3 i cant split them on my point system..When i do the final analysis after scrs and prices i can narrow it down and i post on my wall , today was tough but got merritt and noted that collins would either win or get pumped as he rides were outsiders in even fields !! When 4 jocks were tied on 5 points it was a lottery at qbean today !! example 2mrw at adel i cant split 3 jocks and the fav will be lindop but i cant see her winning except maybee points in the first..So i take the 3 i tipped into others i tipped at other venues in doubles and trbles and if one of the adel jocks come up decent odds i usually go at them and note it on my wall as value get on,moral etc....I only tip were i now i can win at sandown @mrw i wont bet as very even but i do like a roughie in newcastle that has a good book of rides ..

Cheers will, i didnt necessarily think that it is the best horse, but I thought it had the best chance and it was more that manwanui was a stupid price. I dont normally take a lot of notice of trails but to beat some smart older horses in its trail by 10l makes you notice, then first up have a turn of foot like it did in the heavy cemented it for me really. Small fields and going back like smart missile was going to do you can get stuck in shitty positions and i honestly didnt think it could run any better than it did the start before.
A pretty good judge of horses Glenn Pollet had said he thought there was anywhere up to 7l improvement in manawanui off its first up run. In going forward not sure which way I go in the Guineas see how the field lines up.
In terms of form I am a bit dry atm, platinum skye in the race before was a huge collect doubled into manawanui but just got no rest up in front with solar charged being a menace had it paying close to 1400-1.
Ive got a feel for a few horses going into the big races, more joyous is a good thing in the manikado did you see her gallop on saturday she has come back huge and at $8 is super value. MKOF at $31 I almost feel like I am robbing the bookies haha If Lion Tamer runs in the plate its a pretty nice quinella. If you want to have a look at one for the caulfield cup Mighty High is at $41's have a look at its win in the G1 in HK, John Moore was pretty upbeat about its chances on TVN at MV saturday arvo.
