Tamer, the plan last night was to ride him mid field and get going at the 700, he sprung the gates and got to the lead under his own terms so with no leader uk the race why not make it into a true staying test, he will only improve from here and possibly with blinkers next start may make him settle a little bit better. Always thought the valley may suit him with his high cruising speed

I thought that too Goldenwing re cox plate, even watching the race last night Sunline popped into my mind and at one stage I thought we were going to replica one of her victories. Trent said he blew out, is wanting to travel right handed and will be better again with a sit and chasing. Horse will go to Sydney now,

As part owner of the horse I thought it was a clever ride considering there were no leaders in the race and only the conditioning gave way the last bit. He put them all under pressure when he turned the wick up.

What sangster has done over sprint distances in nz and oz with his breeding has been on class alone. Stepping up in distance can only aid his chances of improving further. The draw can be difficult but if he slots in 4th or 5th he may be too strong for this lot.

Court Ruler ran a very nice lead up race in NZ on a good track over 2200m, beaten 1.3 lengths by Boundless, he will be in this for a long way, Tinseltown I like, may be the kiwis fill the placings
Keyora - especially at $30's, Bowman hopped off it and told connections he would have won if he had been on it in a race prior, only beaten 2 lengths, will stay the trip but i am praying for them to water the track.

I think Fashion finished off the race well last start, will be suited out to the mile, will be having a little EW on Starcheeka, run was better than it looked last start, missed jump, rushed up 3 wide and only beaten 4 lengths, drawn wide but it may just get cover midfield. Won race in NZ sitting off the pace. Food for thought????

If speed on like it should be, then six oclock news will be flying. many lengths better than tinseltown going from NZ form.

Was only an armchair ride I thought. Horse jumped well and put itself on the pace and showed a turn of foot at the top of the straight to put the result beyond doubt very quickly. Walk in the park and syndrome both got home ok being wide for majority of race but beaten 4.5 and 6 lengths respectively

im with you REDED with Za Magic, put away a good field over the mile at the start of the carnival, got a draw so only needs a half decent track to be in it
Za Magic still ran on well, never ever looked happy in those conditions. Court Ruler was a superb run, will want/need it wet to win derby

agree with court ruler, heading towards derby he has already confirmed he runs the trip with 4th= in NZ derby.
