How does anyone go past Manighar? This prep wins the Asutralian Cup, wins the Ranvet, wins the BMW, all group 1s, and now goes to the Doomben Cup running against a once overrated Lights Of Heaven and a nz stayer who to my eye has similar class to a horse like Scarlett Lady who Manighar thrashed.

This Ole Rose in race 3 at Bendigo looks short but I think it has a lot of ability, form stacks up really well, on debut jockey steered it 5-6 wide and just stayed away from the othetr horses like they knew they had something with a bit of ability, won very easily and sprinter quickly when asked.

Balmont finds his best form and will be in this at Wagga, good gate, strong tempo, finished second behind Ortensia. Has a lot of ability.

Fresh Light in the next at Warnambool all the way to the bank

#1 Certain Hope in the next at the bool. Great chance if it doesnt get caught wide from the gate.

I think the big difference with Mosheen to many of those horses I mentioned is she always sticks her neck out, she's tough as nails, tough horses generally stay.

Agree Bagman is the danger but from those similar times over the 1400m at caulfield Sheila's Star gets 4.5 kgs from Bagman when those times were with both horses carrying 54kgs. Giving it a start at the turn, 4.5kgs and we also don't know how many more lengths SS had up it's sleeve, possibly 1 or 2.

$2 seems value to my eyes. Winning at Caulfield by lengths witout being tested, this horse is really flying.

Everytime I hear his trainer (Sincero's) interviewed before a reasonably big race he says he is hoping for a dry track. He won that Guineas all on class. And he will be on the inside of the track so I'm going to risk him.

In my opinion only 3 horses that can win it this year given the wet track I'm expecting. Secret Admirer, Shoot Out and Hurtle Myrtle. Will have all 3 into Streama for the Oaks, one of them will win the Donny.

Yeah it is a bit steep but it hurts you more for the shorter odds horses. Like if you wanted to back All Too Hard this weekend at 1.50 into him for the slipper at 7, you end up getting lower than 7s for the double. Which is stupid. You will still get a good dividend for the Rock Classic.
