Correction: Jimmy Choux won the Rosehill Guineas. Ilovethiscity won this last year. Jimmy has had three starts in Oz for a stunning win in the Guineas and a superb effort in the Cox Plate with only Craig Williams magic beating it. Forget he went around in the Derby because he was at the end of a long campaign

Foxwedge is a talented horse, but the Coolmore run looks better on face value than it really was. Sepoy doesn't handle the straight course and he was a very tired horse. Replace Foxwedge with BC and the mare wins by 6, maybe more. That was a very thin race in the Spring. Never doubt champions, that is what Black Caviar is and she'll win everything she contests on Aussie soil

HEAT 1:
Washakie should lead, Auckland Reactor faces the breeze, Alzona gets the spot behind the leader. David Hercules can sneak first four if he sticks to the inside. Washakie to win.

HEAT 2:
A better draw helps Rocket Reign. He can certainly turn his form around. Mr Feelgood has been very ordinary in WA, but if he is anywhere near right, he should win. Raglan is in form and looks one of the major players from NZ. He has to be considered. Crombie should get a soft trip from his draw. Maybe Rocket Reign e/w.

HEAT 3:
Smoken Up is the best horse here, but he does have a horror barrier draw. He'll have to win sitting outside the leader, which will be Saucy Legend. Dasher VC will get the soft run behind the leader. Heza Buzzin is always near the placings. Lacks the brilliance to be a force, but he can fill the placings. Cromac Johnny has plenty of gate speed. Can he lead? I don't think so and he should get 1/1 cover. Smoken Up should win, but not a betting prospect. Heza Buzzin for a place.

HEAT 4:
Im Themightyquinn...wonderful horse. He should just about win, but Has The Answers will a very cheeky race out in front. They are the clear top two here. Lightning Raider for third.
