It is pouring down in Sydney - and there will be around another 60-80mm more (at least) by the time the race is run. Who are the genuine heavy track horses?? Will they call the meeting off if they get 100mm of rain this week??

Maluti was a real eye catcher. Trapped in traffic on the rails behind Textiles and Yendall had to stop and concede around 5L in trying to get to the outside for clear room. I wonder why Zahra was riding for Patinack and not Darley??

I was watching on Foxtel and paused it after they had jumped 400m.. Corey Brown rode such a negative race. There was no speed after 400m he could have easily pushed up to find a forward spot but he decided against it. Feel for old Jack Denham, couldnt go out a winner.
