It wasn't pretty, but he holds on. Finally!
Exactly. This is a joke
Jacob Rule on Turiff...what were you thinking?
Money for his ride in the second race and he is out to $14 for the Jockey Challenge?
I hate backing Yendall, but he does look great value at $11
Spud ride from Nolen on Privately. He said in an interview on TVN after his last start win that the horse takes time to wind up as he is a colt...well why drive up and sit on the fence, in a pocket?
Jack Hill at Kyneton a chance, along with Fry?
Sit and steer job on Rain Affair, and Ichihara didn't beat much. He is overrated. And Billy Owen is another spud. He had a very good book of rides today but has done zilch on each ride
Corey Brown is the most overrated rider in Australia
I'll be surprised if the Stewards don't look in to the ride from Nikolic on Subtle Charm...why was he riding off the rail?
Gee Josh Parr is a spud, awful ride on Pastoral Care
Thompson looking in a bit of trouble at Scone. I took Duffy, Hill and Any Other at Kilmore and I think my best chance might be with Duffy
Ahh Yendall yet again...cannot follow him
What about Denman? I'd rather have him than Helmet, Galah or Pied A Terre
$16 for Woorim??? That is huge overs. Small field, he won't be far away and he can use his thundering turn of speed.
Samaready just wins here. Get the best price, watch it win, get in the queue
Can't have Alberton Park because she is a risk at 1500m. Steps In Time does deserve to be that price because, on paper, she will get the easiest lead in the world. That will force Streama to sit near the speed, which isn't the way to ride her. That's why she didn't look too flash last start, even though she was pulling away from them on the line. Ride her cold like they did in the Flight Stakes and she is one of the best females in Australia. If there was pace in the race, I'd be all over Yosei at $21 because her two runs this time in have been very good.
How can you follow Yendall? Does nothing yesterday when he was $1.25, then backs up on some average rides at Hamilton and wins at $4...deadset crook
Always Well looks big overs
Pyrenees Express looks superb value e/w. Should get a soft trip
Still not working now. Absolutely disgraceful this is
Munce in awful trouble. Wiggins/Colless look to be in the box seat
Robbo/Todd at Ararat. I think Munce is a special at Ipswich. His first three rides are bred to swim.
Can you send me a link?
Thanks Steels for putting the race up. First time I have watched it and bloody hell, how far should have Trusting won by? He is eating my money but I'll get it back in the Autumn.
Lovely ride by Nash on Record High. I think the others didnt do their research. Give Nash easy sectionals in front and 99% of the time he'll win. Best front running rider in the world.
I can only see Nash getting points on Butterfield, but he is an Aussie so I'll be cheering for him and Brett Prebble. Surely an Aussie can fly the flag for us proudly on the world sporting stage.
Yeah, I agree Plugger in regards to Ortensia. She just isnt world class. Waste of time/money I think.
Even Astar has the pace to lead and win this. Has very good form plus the barrier advantage over the favourite. She should prove hard to hold out here.
My big bet is on Trusting, but gee Im worried about Impressive Jeuney because she will dictate and thats what she did as a 3YO in all the classic races over there. She is a big threat at good odds.
Nothing better than friendly fire :D very appropiate given the Ashes kicks off in less than an hour. I see Trusting has firmed in on TAB Sportsbet.
Gets rolled (again) BOOM!
Want to put your money where your mouth is Pluggerduck?
Im all over Trusting here. The wide barrier is a plus for this bloke, he needs clear space and he'll get that here. Black Piranha and Triple Honour $18+??? Proven top class horses, not sure about Triple Honour racing the opposite way though, but a definite exotic hope along with boom horse Ranger, who is going to be a beauty with maturity.
Yeah I know that Pluggerduck, but at this time of year when the tracks are usually at their best with the sunshine if horses dont frank the form, then there is trouble. Didn't watch the race but gee Orthello paid $2.10...wasn't expecting that short of a price but winners are grinners. Definitely keep an eye out for the first three, they look nice types. No Respite=red book when contesting metro races. Fair dinkum cat.
Won't win. Had every chance in front last time. The form isnt good because Secret Destiny came out and ran a shocker a couple of Saturdays back. Going with either No Respite or Orthello.
Thanks DJ. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy the result was changed because I had a good go at Rose Kingdom, but gee there wasn't a great deal in it, but rules are rules.
I agree in regards to the track being rated Fast. Imagine what Buena Vista could do in Australia if the rain stayed away...my god, I may as well look for my bookmaker and line up!
Yeah, the filly that was first past the post is a very gifted race horse and wouldnt be disgraced in a race like the Caulfield Cup next year. Soumillion did roll in on the horse, but he was by far travelling much better than Rose Kingdom and had she not rolled in, she would have won by a bigger margin I think.
I'm not sure how many people here follow Japanese racing but if so, can you tell me if it is always the case with Steward's enquiries that a horse can be relegated from first to second due to interference yet the margin was well over a length? Did anyone else watch the race. I backed Rose Kingdom and although I considered the horse unlucky, I wasn't expecting the result to be reversed. If it was an Australian race, nothing would be made of it, life goes on. I find it fascinating.
I agree mate, Flowerchild looks the one here. Doesn't meet a strong field here and Larry will have her in a great spot. Dangers are Zero Rock and Swiss Rose.
I wish there was a 'like' button for Predators post.
Bravo sirkingston. I've been looking back at some of the past threads and there are some menaces who use the forum section as a way of getting pleasure out of ruffling the feathers of some people. This is the best tipping site in Australia and will be for a very long time.
2 wins and out of 3 aint bad. I think I will stay away tonight and concentrate on the harness.

Gee Sirmione as the best 2000m horse in Australia? you have to be kidding me! the best 2000m horse has to win across the country, not just at Flemington. Yeah, he is a good horse but not the best.
If froggy was on Miss Maren I'd be more confident but G. Boss worries me.
Lindop is completely out of form at the moment. I cant back her at the moment.
