RACING RELAY with DEANJOHN

The fans turned out in big numbers to celebrate the last Hong Kong meeting of the 2008/2009 season. The winners of the Most Popular Jockey and Horse of the Year were announced and there were prizes too for lucky patrons. Aussie Perth sensation Willie Pike is going to be a Hong Kong Supa Star next season. It is now time for Spelling, with Hong Kong racing taking its summer break until early September. All this and more in my penultimate feature article of the season!

Recent Tipping Highlights

The biggest highlight would have to be Sand Sweeper who was tipped by eight Punters Paradise users on Saturday and won at best tote odds of $73.50!
The users who tipped the big priced winner were Whiteknight, travstew, systematic2, Relentless, largy76, Whittson, justlisten and beaslyboy.

Another tipping highlight has been the debut performance of Robshots, which has been nothing short of sensational! He owns a photography business but might have to consider giving it away if he keeps tipping winners at this rate!

Robshots' winning tips have included Ayjaydee $15.70, Yaseynitall $36.30, Togha $14.00, Fred the Legion $20.30, Trophy Hoarder $11.80, Eagle Bowl $44.10, Rubazi $12.70 and Bouggarani $13.20.

Turbo Quaddie

Australian punters love to bet on the Quaddie. Sportsbet being the innovators they are, have recognised this and introduced the turbo quaddie!

Nominate one runner in each leg and the Turbo Quaddie pays the best Quaddie Dividend of the 2 TAB's (NSW TAB /S-TAB VIC) for Australian gallops races. Go to Sportsbet and find out how you can place a wager on the Turbo Quaddie.

Competition Winner

It was an almighty sprint home which saw Whiteknight take out the $500 June tipping competition with a profit of $16,420! It wasn't easy though after having a battle royal with beaslyboy which went right down to the wire.

Whiteknight eventually sealed the deal with Mokobaesi Miss in the last race at Echuca, which won paying $22.10! Understandably beaslyboy was not happy after leading all the way only to go down by a nose with $15,740 profit.

If you currently aren't registered for the $500 monthly tipping competitions and would like to take part you just need to fill out the "competition details" section of your MY PROFILE page, good luck!

KiNG Tipping Updates

The main KiNG Tipping improvements you'll have noticed during the past week are the seller and loyalty ratings. They now work perfectly and look better than ever!

Another new addition are the info symbols, which display exactly which races the tips are for. This change was needed so we can not only give you more info but so we can also get ready to introduce lay tipping!

We have also updated the way you view your favourites. Now you can view them on the ladder board page, which makes it easier to glance over your favourite tippers and find new tippers you wish to add to your favourites.

In the next couple of weeks we'll be introducing the option to choose how much you sell your tips for and also the option to offer a profit guarantee, stay tuned!
