BRISBANE, May 1 AAP - Star apprentice Timothy Bell is hopeful of reuniting with the powerful Patinack Farm stable from next week following a minor disagreement with boss, Nathan Tinkler.

Bell, who is a runaway leader in the Brisbane apprentices' premiership and second to Chris Munce in the battle for the overall title, is not riding for Patinack Farm at Eagle Farm on Wednesday or the Gold Coast on Saturday.

Bell had enjoyed a great association with Patinack Farm following his appointment as the stable's Queensland rider before their disagreement.

"I'm confident things will be back to normal from next week," Bell said.

"I'm still riding trackwork and I'm still their stable rider in Queensland.

"I just need to apply myself better after making a few errors recently.

"I get on very well with John Thompson and the team here. I'm sure it will all be smoothed over by next week."

Leading Melbourne apprentice Jake Noonan will ride the bulk of the Patinack Farm team at Eagle Farm on Wednesday.
