TAB futures markets opened for Queensland winter carnival

Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman are set to launch a Queensland winter carnival raid and TAB like their chances of cleaning up.
Markets for a handful of Brisbane's feature races opened on Wednesday, with the likes of I Wish I Win and Autumn Angel featuring at the top of numerous markets.
I Wish I Win opened as favourite for both the Doomben 10,000 and Kingsford Smith Cup, while Autumn Angel is top pick for both the Queensland Derby and Queensland Oaks.
"For the Doomben 10,000, I Wish I Win looks the clear one to beat," TAB senior trader Tim Owens said.

"His only run so far this preparation was a quality third in the TJ Smith which looks superior to the form of any of the locals.
"With a number of others in the market uncertain to continue on from their Autumn campaigns, he could end up starting much shorter than the $3.50 available."
A handful of Chris Waller-trained gallopers also feature heavily among the futures markets, with the likes of Atishu, Espiona and Joliestar likely to embark in winter carnival raids.What an angel 😇

West Australian mare Amelia's Jewel opened the $8 equal-favourite for the Stradbroke Handicap, alongside Magic Time, but owner Peter Walsh all but ruled out a Queensland assault on Tuesday.
Last year's winner Think About It is an $11 chance to go back-to-back while Antino, Joliestar and Uncommon James are all at $15.
"It looks a wide open Stradbroke this year with plenty to hinge on which horses continue campaigning to the end of the Winter," Owens said.
"The local, Antino, is being set for the race having missed a run last year, but TAB is happy to bet top odds about him after an aborted Sydney campaign."
Cascadian and Atishu are the $6 equal favourites for the Doomben Cup with Huetor rated an $8 chance in his quest to achieve history and win the race for a third consecutive year.
