Star WA jockey William Pike booked to ride in $1m The Goodwood
Wizard of the west Willie Pike will make a rare trip to South Australia to partner exciting Perth three-year-old Oscar's Fortune in the Group 1 The Goodwood on Saturday week.
Oscar's Fortune, trained by Dion Luciani, was last seen running third behind Overpass in the $5m The Quokka in Perth.

Oscar's Fortune, a bargain $5500 buy as a yearling, finished behind only Overpass and Amelia's Jewel in The Quokka.
Pike, not long back in the saddle from a stint on the sidelines with a heel injury, has partnered the three-year-old gelding in all five of his career wins.OVERPASS IS THE KING OF PERTH! 👑

"The horse has been good to me and has ran well every time I've ridden him," Pike said.
"I think he will have a great chance in The Goodwood."
The Goodwood is worth $1 million and is raced over 1200m with set weights and penalties conditions at Morphettville on May 11.
