Group One winner sells for $1.55 million

BRISBANE, May 29 AAP - Group One winner Nechita has sold for $1.55 million as part of the Patinack Farm unreserved reduction sale on the Gold Coast.
Embattled businessman Nathan Tinkler is using the Magic Millions auction to disperse his racing and breeding interests with Nechita just one of the stars going under the hammer on Wednesday.
Bidding on the high class filly started at $500,000 and she was eventually secured by Coolmore Stud for $1.55 million.
Patinack Farm's Group One placegetter Longport also attracted keen interest and sold for $800,000.
