SYDNEY, March 14 AAP - High-profile three-year-olds Manawanui and Mosheen have both drawn wide for Saturday's Group One Randwick Guineas.

Manawanui came up with barrier 11 in a field of 17 for the $500,000 event while last-start Australian Guineas winner Mosheen fared even worse with 14.

Hobartville Stakes winner Wild And Proud will have to contend with the outside gate while Group One Spring Champion Stakes winner Doctor Doom will begin from barrier one.

Peter Snowden will have four runners while Gai Waterhouse will also have Laser Hawk (barrier six) along with Wild And Proud.

The Guineas meeting will be the first conducted at Randwick since the course was shut down in November to begin work on a $150 million redevelopment of facilities.
