Ortensia stripped of Group One win

SYDNEY, Aug 30 AAP - Glamour sprinting mare Ortensia has been stripped of her autumn Group One win in The Galaxy.
Racing NSW stewards disqualified Ortensia as the winner of the 1100-metre Randwick feature sprint during a positive swab inquiry at their Sydney offices on Monday.
Ortensia returned a positive sample to the substance Ractopamine, a drug commonly used to promote leaness in male pigs.
While stewards took the April 10 race away from Ortensia, trainer Tony Noonan escaped penalty.
Ortensia's connections immediately lodged an appeal against the disqualification while Noonan is weighing up his options.
The decision has left the Chris Waller-trained Shellscrape as the Galaxy winner.

What about us punters who backed shellscrape! Left out in the cold!!!
I wonder if the Pakistani's had anything to do with this?
Does anyone know what happens if you backed Shellscrape? Any way of getting your winnings?
I don't believe so thecommando. I've never heard of a bookies re-settling their books after more than a few hours of settlement, let alone a few months. You could imagine how many people would have won with Ortensia - and it wouldn't be easy to take those funds back.
Having said that though, sportsbet has been known to pay out on what they consider an 'unfair' result. I guess it's worth a shot?

Yeah, I thought that would be the case, would've been quite a handy little collect, thanks for the help.
