The price for the mighty mare is just $1.02 (1/50 fractional odds), shorter than when Ajax famously lost at $1.025 (1/40 fractional odds) in the 1939 Rawson Stakes.
"Black Caviar losing the Australia Stakes would be the biggest boil over in Australian racing history," sportsbet.com.au's Haydn Lane said.
