BRISBANE, Aug 11 AAP - The winning streak of apprentice Tegan Harrison has come to an abrupt halt after she was suspended for the second time in a week for careless riding.

Harrison, who is equal leader with Larry Cassidy in the Brisbane jockeys' premiership, will be sidelined for three weeks after she pleaded guilty to careless riding aboard Dr Ichi in the Rohrig Handicap (1200m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

She was handed a six meetings suspension on Saturday, adding to the seven meetings stretch she incurred a week earlier at Doomben.

Harrison, who notched a winning double aboard Lucky Songs and Carry to Fortune on Saturday, will resume riding on September 1.
