SYDNEY, March 12 AAP - Promising filly Zutara will be out to cement her Golden Slipper berth in Saturday's Group Three Sweet Embrace Stakes and Gooree's Andrew Baddock believes the youngster is the right sort of horse for the world's richest race for two-year-olds.

Baddock, racing manager for Gooree Pastoral Company which races Zutara, said both Zutara and stablemate Kiss From A Rose were fillies with untapped potential.

Kiss From A Rose will also be in action at Randwick on Saturday in the Listed Strada Stakes (1200m).

Zutara won on debut at Randwick in January before resuming from a let-up with a slashing third in the Silver Slipper Stakes (1100m) won by Chance Bye on February 27.

"She's a filly with untapped ability and the 1200 metres at Randwick tomorrow should suit her," Baddock said of Zutara.

"The more speed on the better it is for her, she'll be the one hitting the line strongly.

"She is probably on the borderline, prizemoney-wise, for the Golden Slipper so she'll probably have to run in the first three to assure herself a start.

"I'd love to see her get to the Slipper because the way it is usually run will definitely suit her style."

Zutara takes on a strong line up in the Sweet Embrace with Melbourne filly Crystal Lily adding plenty of interest.

Along with Crystal Lily is Ambers Waltz and Divorces who finished either side of Zutara in the Silver Slipper.

Kiss From A Rose, a three-quarter sister to Northern Meteor, gets her first chance to win black type in the Strada Stakes.

The Encosta De Lago filly is unbeaten from two starts and was ultra-impressive winning by 2-1/2 lengths in a 3YO Benchmark 68 under lights at Canterbury on March 4.

"Nash (Rawiller) got off her last start and said the scary part is that we don't know how good she is yet," Baddock said.

"Our first aim with her is to get black type because she's a very well-bred filly. "We didn't want to throw her right in the deep end and she'll probably go to the Darby Munro next."

Baddock also believes Swift Alliance can bounce back in the Group Two Challenge Stakes (1000m) after finishing 10th in the Group One Oakleigh Plate first-up in Melbourne.

"Gai (Waterhouse) tells me he worked super on Tuesday morning and he's pretty much a no frills horse," Baddock said.

"He was outclassed, but not disgraced, in the Oakleigh Plate but he's back in grade and has freshened up well."
