SYDNEY, March 12 AAP - Trainer Kevin Moses can't fault honest stayer Deltona as he looks to score back-to-back stakes wins in Saturday's Group Three Randwick City Stakes.

Moses was supremely confident heading into Deltona's last start in the Listed Parramatta Cup (2000m) at Rosehill three weeks ago and the six-year-old gelding went on to lead all the way.

"I'm as happy as what I was last time," Moses said.

However, the trainer pointed out that Deltona would meet favourite Voice Coach worse at the weights on Saturday.

Deltona carried 53.5kg in the Parramatta Cup while Voice Coach carried 58kg when finishing fifth.

On Saturday Deltona is on the limit with 53kg while Voice Coach drops 4kg to 54kg.

Voice Coach is one of four runners for trainer Chris Waller in the 2000m event.

Imported stayer Warringah, who hasn't raced since finishing last at his Australian debut in last year's Melbourne Cup, is topweight for the Randwick City Stakes with 58kg.

Deltona has won seven of his 36 starts with a further 15 placings.

He won a 2000m Benchmark-85 at Rosehill three starts back before finishing second to Tagus at Rosehill over 1800m at his next start.

He then defeated La Belle Chataigne in the Parramatta Cup.

"Everything is good with him," Moses said.

"It is three weeks between runs and he's feeling well. He just tries so hard."

Deltona was on the third line of betting with TAB Sportsbet on Friday at $4.60 behind favourite Voice Coach ($3.20) and last-start winner Spinney ($4).
